Botswana's Untamed Beauty
central-kalahari
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve located in the heart of Botswana, is one of the largest and most remote game reserves in the world, covering over 52,000 square kilometers. Known for its stark, rugged beauty, the reserve is a true wilderness, with vast salt pans, golden dunes, and seasonal floodplains. This is home to a surprising array of wildlife, including predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as antelope species like springbok and oryx.
The reserve is especially attractive during the rainy season, when it transforms into a temporary haven for migrating animals. Central Kalahari offers an off-the-beaten-path safari experience, perfect for travellers seeking solitude, adventure, and an authentic desert wilderness.

Best Time To Visit
central-kalahari
The Best Time to Visit Central Kalahari Game Reserve is during the dry season, from May to October. During this time, wildlife congregates around remaining water sources, making it easier to spot predators and prey alike. The temperatures are cooler, making safaris more comfortable. For those interested in birdwatching and the landscape’s seasonal beauty, the rainy season (November to April) brings lush greenery and migratory birds, though wildlife sightings may be less predictable.
